Issues arrived when I connected it to a USB 3.1 gen 2 port, The SD card reader would not read properly (1-2MB/s +event errors), writing worked fine 280+MB/s and the Cfast 2.0 reader managed R:470+MB/s W:380+MB/s, writing could have been faster. So I bought Pro Grade dual SDXC UHS-2 + CFast 2 memory card reader USB 3.1 gen 2. So I swapped the reader to a free USB port on my Mac Pro - that works and it took approx 28 seconds to copy 4.25 GB from both cards to new folders on the Mac Pro. OK I have the dual card reader in a USB 3.0 hub externally, when I tried to use both to copy to a single hard-drive it failed not enough power. I also bought the 1TB SSD by Wise which comes with everything to attache to the 4K I presume on top or underneath. Yes this is the reader I have and I am very happy with it. Neither did I until I discovered a Wise dealer here in Switzerland. Always assumed it would of took an age to offload or increase possibility of corruption if there were an interruption etc. I love this forum, I didn't even know there was a dual Cfast reader. Is reliability/speed an issue if you load 2 Cfast cards in and start offloading to a single hard drive at the same time? AbdoulUK wrote:That's great to know guys.
